What is your view on Michael Carrick's footballing ability?

Carrick is simply the most overrated midfielder ever. He was good at west ham but now he has no technical ability, bad tackling and makes lots of mistakes! The only reason why he doesn't get caught out is because of the quality that plays around him in players such as Rooney, chicharito, vidic etc.
