Boarding dogs - Got home sick?

Once your dogs get back on their regular diet and routine, they will most likely be back to normal. I would not feed them for 24 hours. This will give their system a rest which will help cleanse them from the toxins caused from the poor quality dog food. Reintroduce their regular food slowly by offering several small meals through out the day for several days. Make sure that all are drinking water. If may take a week or so for your ACD to build his weight back up so be patient. Next time find another friend to leave them with, hire a pet sitter or board them in a kennel. This way you'll have some recourse if your instructions are not followed.
