Tornado did damage to my car and building I was working in..building is fixed but my truck the company said no?

I was called by the ast manager at 4:00 and said to expect a call from himself or manager soon to send me home because of tornados coming this way...I never received that phone call to send me home early and the tornado touched down as I was getting off work I watched from only about 30ft away I'm lucky to be alive really...but because of that phone call I never got I think this is their fault....can I do anything??
