Found a baby bird what should I do?

I found a baby Carolina Wren by my trash can. It had it's eyes close and it was shaking. It can hop around and when it flaps it's wings it can almost fly (just a few inches from the ground though). It began chirping when I poked it with a stick to see if it was alive. I heard a bird respond to it's call and then it began to chirp louder. It hobbled in the middle of my driveway and chirped louder. Then An adult Carolina Wren flew by it a few times and even brushed against it during it's flights. The adult wren then flew off on top of my house somewhere. The baby stopped chirping and hid under one of the cars in the driveway. I assume the adult wren was one of it's parents. Can the parents save the chick or is it too late. What will happen to the chick if it's left out on my driveway. What can I do (I'm not so big on the idea of taking in a wild animal). Or should I just leave it and let nature take it's course?

Okay, so we have this cat, and her name is Carla. Carla is older than me, being 13 or 14 years old. Making her age in cat years 78 or 84. I don't think anyone else realizes this, but she's getting very fragile. Our cat Woody was 11 or 12 when he died, so I think Carla may be starting to go too. When I just sit and listen to her breath, it sounds forced and in shallow breaths. She eats and drinks fine, and she uses the bathroom just fine. But the thing is, sometimes while she's sleeping, she looks like she stopped breathing, and I'll get worried that she's dying, so I shake her and everything and sometimes she takes a loooooong time to wake up, and that scares me a lot. So I want to be prepared for when she's actually passing. Do you know of any signs that can tell me when I actually need to be worried?

We received a letter in the mail from a jp court ordering our appearance. The office wrote an afidavit at the school police department and my son or I was arrested,cited or anything, just notifyed by the jp court of the complaint and ordered to appear. I believe it was retaliation as my complaint was over a 504 issue and that is suppose to be protected by law. We pled no contest in jp court and are appealing it in county court. However isnt their laws about arrest,maranda rights and such.

I had a CMP done. There was no fasting or drinking of glucose drink involved. I just had to go in whenever I felt like it. My results were given to me at the lab and I was wondering if anyone could help interpret them for me. Normal Glucose levels were between 70/110 mg and my result was 110, K came back at 3.5 and normal levels were 3.5-5.0, and my AST and ALt were low ASt being 9 and ALT being at 27. The normal ranges for the AST were between 15-37 and range for ALt was 30-65.What do lower than normal levels of AST and ALT mean? Im asking because i have been very dizzy and nauseous and also suffer from hyperthyroidism. Any help would be appreciated.

Herpes or Hepatitis infection?

i had protected sex wit a girl i didn't really know about 8 weeks ago with a spermicidal condom. i was worried about herpes but my doctor said he did not think it was herpes because i had no symptoms but a slight burning in urination and a tingle inside my penis. he tested me for chlamydia and gonorrhea which were both negative. however he said my urine had a lot of protein in it and he tested my urine. my AST and ALT were off the chart my AST was 436 and my ALT was 206. they did an ultrasound on my kidneys and bladder and everything looked fine. he referred me to a nefralogist and he said i had an infection that passed through my urinary tract system which caused the pain and that my levels were back to normal though there urine test did not detect all that labcorps did the first time. this was all about 6 weeks ago. however last week i got a IGM/IGG test for herpes and the igm was postive and the igg was negative and he diagnosed me with herpes saying it was a recent infection which i was devastated by because i used a condom and it was only one encounter. i have no sores are any symptoms besides maybe a slight itch down there and this slightly red skin on my outside thigh which i don't know if its always been there or not because i take hot showers and scratch my legs a lot but you can barely see it. that was last week Friday( week7) this morning i threw up bile feeling very nauseous and my urine is a really dark yellow. i have no appetite at all though im hungry and i have slight abdominal pain on the left side of my stomach. my question is that my symptoms don't sound like herpes at all but hepatitis. i don't have jaundice though. so can IGM pick up a hepatitis infection too? or just a herpes infection. are the igm antibodies specific to each viral disease or the same based on symptoms? should i just assume i have herpes even through the symptoms don't match up? i haven't been tested for any of the hepatitis viruses yet but im going back to the doctors tomorrow to ask him if it could be a misdiagnosis or if i really do have herpes.

I honestly think it will be a toss up between Kyrie or Kemba. Irving is adept at the point guard position. I can see a player like him having similar numbers as Chris Paul or John Wall. I also think kemba is a good consideration. Walker is already better then DJ Augustine and I know he will get the starting role. I had a liver function test done and although my ast levels went down my ast is still elevated.?

It is at 56 when normal range is between 6 and 40.I'm not a smoker or drinker I am 40 pds. overweight though with high cholesterol. I'd had pain in the liver region after I had my gallbladder removed a few months ago and although the pain was constant then it had considerably subsided but then I was put on zocor 20mg once a day for the cholesterol and I've taken it for only 3 days and the pain is back and it's constant again like before. I've had ultrasounds done which show no inflammation so the dr says it's probably a fatty liver. But a fatty liver doesn't show up on an ultrasound I know cause I've asked the dr. When I had the gallbladder removed I asked the dr who did the surgery how my liver looked and he said fine so I'm left with the nagging question again if everything looks good then why are my alt's elevated????? I am going to the dr for this by the way but hearing input never hurts. Why am I always shaking?

It's not serious shaking, and it's always there. Mainly in my hands. It's actually a trait in my family, and my grandfather and some of his siblings have it too. I can't hold my hands completely still, but it has nothing to do with PD or anything like that. We just shake in varying degrees. I am afraid that I might have multiple sclerosis, but I have heard other people tell me that stress and anxiety can do the same things. The reason I am worried about MS is because I read that it can be triggered by a virus or infection and these symptoms started arising shortly after I had some kind of really bad flu or food poisoning of some type that landed me in the hospital. Then again, that is also when my husband was deployed, so there was a stress factor then as well. I am just worried and any advice or help would be amazing. Thank you.

When to put my dog to sleep?

My dog is 18 years old. He has been with me since he was a puppy and I was 6 years old. the ast couple of years he has not been doing well. He has trouble walking u and down stairs. He uses the bathroom in the house all the time and he never did when he was younger, he always knew to go outside. He has bad eyes and athritis. Some days he has so much trouble getting up I will pick him up to help him to his feet. Then about a month ago, He was in the front yard and someone shot him.I took him to the vet and they said he was doing exceptionally well for his age and that he would be okay. The gunshot dint seem to make him much worse but I know it might add to his problems. I know it sounds like he is suffering and I should think it obvious to put him down but I am hesitant because as bad as he is o some days where he can barely move.... every one i a while he will have a good day where he can wag and jump around ad acts happy.... Its on those days that I cant imagine putting him down.Then I see him on the bad days and how much pain hes in and i cant stand it. Please. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Help! I think my friend is going through an emotional break down and I dont know what to do?

So usually my friend is pretty strong willed and can hold herself together. Im her best friend but she usually is really independent and never tells anyone her feelings and refuses to see a therapist. But then bad things started happening like her dad which she only sees on weekends disowned her, then her other best friend betrayed her and another best friend of hers which dated her other best friend died. She promised him she would always protect her before he died. I noticed after that she was a little off and was more independent then ever. Then she got into an arguement with her mom and now she plans on kicking her out of the house. I asked her if she wanted to stay at my place but she refused and said she would be fine on her own and didnt want to be a burden. A little while after that she randomly invited me to go over her house. Out of nowhere she just started shaking and started to cry. She said she wants to die because she blames herself for his death but she knows she cant because she promised to protect her former best friend. She started to say she didn't care about life anymore and that she didn't need her family. She said if she has to shell kill everyone to keep her safe and doesnt care if she becomes a monster. She said she was scared and then she ran off and I havent seen her since. I dont know what I should do, does anyone have any ideas?

Not bad. If you are talking long-term and not this season, I would take Robinson Cano over Rickie Weeks. Weeks is having a good season, but Cano is the better player. His average is down this season, but he's still around .290, with plenty of time to bring it up. He also has 14 HR and around 50 RBIs. He should have a monster second half and end up over .300 with 30 HR and over 100RBIs. I know you probably wouldn't pick him anyway, I have seen your questions and know you hate anything that has to do with the Yankees, but Cano is better, hands-down, than Rickie Weeks. Had blood work done- everything came back normal except my liver enzymes?

Does ginseng really help for anxiety?

This time last year I suffered a really bad Derealization attack that lasted a month. It's been a year and i've been fine since late last july after the doctor put me on Klonopin,Citalopram, and Metoprolol. Today marks the one year anniversary when my anxiety/derealization kicked in really bad and I can't shake the feeling that I'm going to fall back into it even thought i've been perfectly fine for 11 months. All day today that's all I could think about and I've even felt like I was slipping back into it. I'm also on my period right now and I sometimes experience anxiety during my period. I take fish oil pills three times daily, I drink Arizona green tea w/ ginseng daily or almost daily, a pill called good day supplements along with my meds the doctor put me on a year ago. Am I just experiencing this anxiety today because a year ago I was going through it pretty bad? Like I said I've been fine since late last July early August and my medicine and the green tea...etc has been working fine for me.

What does borderline hepatitis c mean from blood work?

I recently had blood work done through my VA, and it says my hep c results were borderline and they will test me again in 4 weeks. Also my ALT and AST are normal. I have no idea what this means, but there really is no way, or any event i can recollect, of me even being in contact with blood, unless somehow it happened on my unsanitary deployment. Why am I so afraid if other people are not?

I can't tell you exactly what it is because I am afraid you would find a way to scare me with it. But I will say that it was something I saw 5 years ago. When I saw it I couldn't stop screaming, shaking, crying. It was awful. It gave me nightmares. Other people who saw it say "it's just supposed to startle you, you are over reacting". Other people jump, then laugh. I have a frikkin panic attack. But I can't help it, to this day, the very thought of seeing it gets me shaking, gets my heart racing. I know more than one person that's drunk at least a half a fifth of hard liquor for 10 years that aren't that high, so I'm not going to speculate or anything else other than recommend you lay it out on the line with your doctor and see why you are so high. Does the SciPhone work as good as the iphone?

The SciPhone is a VERY cheap asian ripoff of the iPhone. I do not recommend getting it as it is made of very poor materials and it's not very sturdy. Look on eBay for a cheap iPhone 3G or 3GS if you want the apps :)
